Chris Worth from Lookers Motor Group is a man on a mission to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Raising money for charity is a selfless thing to do for those less fortunate and here at Warrantywise, we fully support these efforts. Especially when it’s all being done through the medium of motoring.
As you read this, Chris is making his way to Barcelona in an ice white Audi A6 adorned with British Heart Foundation stickers. The road trip began with a short visit to BHF head office in Birmingham where their lovable mascot “Mr Hearty” made an appearance to give Chris his support. Chris then made his way to the Eurotunnel to head on through France and into Spain.
The drive began on the 16th of March (Monday) and is expected to last for around 6 days as Chris makes his way to Barcelona and back again. A target of £1500 has been set for the charity drive and due to the car and event being funded by Lookers and one of the companies main finance partners, all donations will go directly to charity.
Chris said “I must say a big thank you to all of you who are supporting me in my fundraising efforts for the British Heart Foundation – I’m extremely grateful!” adding “I’ve never attempted anything like this before. I would love to reach my £1,500 target for the BHF before my journey begins on Monday.”
Well Chris, we are all behind you and wish you godspeed on your journey.
If anyone wishes to donate to the cause, you can text LKRS99 and the amount you want to give to 70070. Alternatively, head over to the charity drives justgiving.co.uk page.
