About your SEAT

SEAT (Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo), a Spanish automobile manufacturer, was founded in 1950 with the mission of bringing affordable and reliable vehicles to Spain. Initially state-owned, SEAT partnered with Fiat to produce cars based on Fiat designs. The company underwent a transformation in the 1980s when it became part of the Volkswagen Group, a move that expanded its reach and technical capabilities.

Since 2010, SEAT has revitalised its brand by focusing on youthful design, advanced technology, and dynamic performance. The company’s current line-up features a range of hatchbacks, SUVs, and electric vehicles, all aimed at offering style and practicality. Models like the SEAT Ibiza, a compact hatchback, and the SEAT Leon, a versatile family car, have remained popular choices. The introduction of SUVs such as the SEAT Arona, Ateca, and Tarraco marked a successful foray into the booming SUV market. SEAT has also embraced electrification with models like the Mii Electric and Cupra Born, under its performance-oriented Cupra sub-brand.

SEAT has consistently been at the forefront of automotive innovation. The brand integrates advanced technology into its vehicles, including state-of-the-art infotainment systems, adaptive cruise control, and driver-assistance features like lane-keeping assist and autonomous emergency braking. Connectivity has been a key focus, with SEAT introducing its digital cockpit and smartphone integration through systems like SEAT Connect.

With a rich history and a forward-thinking approach, SEAT continues to blend Spanish flair with German engineering precision, making it a beloved brand across Europe and beyond. A Warrantywise extended warranty can give you peace of mind, allowing you to focus on everything your SEAT has to offer.  Get your extended warranty quote for your second-hand SEAT today and buy it online.
