Repair guidance

After a repair has been authorised

Once Warrantywise provides written authorisation, the garage can complete the agreed work. Find out what happens if the diagnosis changes, how payment is arranged and where to go if you experience a problem with the repair.

Once Warrantywise has reviewed the request, we will send you an authorisation document which will itemise the approved repair cost. By signing and returning the document, you confirm your acceptance of the repair amount.

Still need help?

The garage must stop and contact us before completing any work that was not included in the original authorisation. You’ll need to wait for written authorisation while we review the additional work and confirm whether we can approve further repairs.

Still need help?

Payment arrangements depend on the method you choose and the circumstances of the repair.

Warrantywise may pay the garage directly, the supplying dealer may pay, or you may pay the garage first and receive the authorised amount from us.

We’ll confirm the arrangements for your repair. In all cases, we’ll need a VAT invoice made out to Warrantywise. If you pay the garage, we’ll also need proof of payment.

Still need help?

Contact our Repairs Team as soon as possible and provide your repair number, vehicle details and a description of the problem. Keep any invoices, photographs and information from the garage, as these may help the team understand what has happened.

Price Promise

Our Price Promise applies to any plan level you have been quoted for, where the plan level is identical (“like-for-like”). If a like-for-like comparison cannot be made, we will issue a bespoke quotation based on your needs, which we guarantee will be the most competitive price and plan we offer at that time.

To activate our Price Promise, proof of an active comparative quote (dated within the previous 30 days) is required. We do not match exclusive or restricted discounts (e.g., student, NHS, blue-light). Warrantywise reserves the right to refuse a price match where fraud or unauthorised reseller activity is suspected.

All warranty plans are governed by the details set out within the warranty plan documents. Warrantywise reserves the right to change or withdraw the ‘Price Promise’ without notice. Please contact our warranty specialists to activate the ‘Price Promise’.
