Find answers about our warranty plans, managing your account and requesting a repair. Whether you’re considering a plan or already have one, you can find practical guidance and the next steps here.
What do I do if I need to request a repair?
If your vehicle develops an issue, contact Warrantywise as soon as possible and before agreeing to any repair work. We’ll explain how to arrange a diagnosis with a garage, and once the problem has been identified, we will assess the repair request against your plan.
To start a repair request, you can use our online repair form to tell us about the issue with your vehicle. Have your plan reference number and vehicle registration ready, and make sure no repair work begins before Warrantywise has assessed the request and provided written authorisation.
You will need your plan reference number, vehicle registration and a brief description of the problem. We may also request service records, photographs or other supporting information.
We assess each repair request individually using the garage’s diagnosis, your plan documentation and any supporting information. We will then confirm whether we can authorise the repair request, either in part or in full.
Our warranty is discretionary, meaning each repair request is considered with fairness and flexibility.
We consider the details of each repair request alongside your warranty plan before making a decision.
If you’re unhappy with a decision, you can ask us to review it. If you remain unhappy, you can refer the matter to our Expert Adjudicator, Edd China, who will review the details and use his own discretion to decide the outcome. Warrantywise will act on his decision.
There is no waiting period before you are able to submit a repair request.
Warrantywise may contribute up to £75 per day towards a replacement hire vehicle for up to 10 days while your vehicle undergoes authorised repairs, which must be agreed in advance.
If you arrange the hire yourself, keep the agreement and receipts as we may need these when considering reimbursement.
After you have submitted a repair request, the garage will diagnose the problem and complete a Repairer’s Assessment Form.
Once we receive the form, one of our technicians will review the diagnosis, proposed work and supporting information against your plan before contacting you with the outcome.
The labour rate will depend on your warranty agreement, and be shown in your plan schedule.
Whether parts will be replaced in pairs depends on your plan level. Check your plan book and schedule to confirm whether it is included.
